Yesterday, the 2010 James Beard Foundation Nominations were announced. The Washington DC area was well represented in this year’s nominations, which got all of us at Punk’s very excited. In our short lifetimes in DC, we’ve seen great strides being taken in the DC culinary scene and we feel that the chefs, restaurants, and journalists who were nominated this year are all very deserving. We’re quite proud to be part of such a groundbreaking culinary city and we look forward to many more years and many more James Beard nominees (and hopefully winners!)
