This coming Thursday, April 30th, Punk’s will host a special fundraising dinner for the children of Ikayalethemba “Home of Hope” in Cape Town, South Africa. Ikayalethemba is an after school program for children affected by HIV and AIDS. Ikayalethemba offers children in one of the poorest townships in South Africa the opportunity to participate in reading, gardening, art therapy, and many other activities that would otherwise not be available to them. Without this special place to go after school, many of the participating children would be alone in the afternoon while their parents are at work. Ikayalethemba offers a safe and nurturing environment where kids with HIV and AIDS can be kids.
Punk’s will donate 15% of the total bill from participating guests directly to Ikayalethemba, so come out for dinner on Thursday evening and help Punk’s make a meaningful donation to this very special program.
