The Washingtonian “Cheap Eats” list for 2010 has hit the newsstands and Punk’s has made the list! This is our second consecutive year on the Cheap Eats list and this year we are the only Annapolis restaurant included. It’s an honor to be included with all of these great restaurants!
In case you’re not familiar with the “Cheap Eats” list, every year, Washingtonian magazine puts together a list of the top 100 restaurants where you can eat for under $25 per person. The list encompasses the entire Washington, DC metropolitan region, ranging as far as Annapolis to the East and Leesburg to the West.
According to Todd Kliman, the food editor for the Washingtonian:
Think finding a great cheap meal is hard? Try finding 100 of them. We crisscrossed the region for a year to come up with this list. Our two criteria: Two people should be able to eat for $50 or less (including tax and tip), and the restaurants should wow us with their cooking. In uncertain economic times, value matters more than ever.
