Last week Chef Dean finalized the list of seasonal menu items that we will add to our regular menu this spring and summer. And now that it’s May 1st, it’s time to unveil the first two. Starting today, Punk’s will be serving Tomato Mozzarella Salad and Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler (two of our backyard favorites!)
Tomato Mozzarella Salad
Cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, chopped fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic reduction, and sea salt — so simple and fresh, it’s perfect side dish for warmer weather.
Strawberry Rhurbarb Cobbler
Sweet strawberries and tart rhubarb topped with a shortbread biscuit crust — we bake and serve them in individual ramekins for just the right mix of flavors.
We have a couple more seasonal menu items up our sleeves (hint: one is a chilled soup, and the other is a salad featuring grilled veggies), so check back here for updates on their introduction.
P.S. Our patio is open every day, and we’ve found that it pairs quite nicely with a glass of our fresh Sangria.
