The Punk’s team spent Thursday, January 24th working with Chefs Dean and Erin to refine and update the Punk’s Backyard Grill menu. Five hours and twenty-five dishes later, Chefs Dean and Erin had worked their magic, preparing almost the entire menu which included sandwiches, skewers, salads, sides, and desserts. We are very excited about the changes to the menu and the way in which Chefs Dean and Erin have integrated their ideas into the backyard cookout concept.
Some of our favorite dishes included the Flat Iron Steak Sandwich, the Macaroni and Cheese, the Grilled American Lamb Skewers, and the Mac Salad, and we just couldn’t get enough of Chef Erin’s homemade pies and cobblers.
In addition to ensuring that everything tastes fantastic, we are also planning to support our local communities every step of the way. With the help of Chef Dean, the Punk’s team has been working with local suppliers to source as many items as possible from in and around the Washington, DC area. Our team is committed to sourcing fresh, local products and, in the process, supporting sustainable farming and the communities in which we live and work.
We have another tasting scheduled for the end of February, at which point we should have a final draft of the menu complete. Stay tuned and you’ll be among the first to view the new, official Punk’s menu!
